On the Cover: Rihanna for Harper's Bazaar.

Once again Rihanna graces the cover of Harper's Bazaar. This is her first time so I decided to put together a few of her previous covers and looks as well as the current ones. Enjoy!

My Life in Fashion: Simba Mhere

The 31st of January marked the passing of what appeared to be one of the kindest souls South African entertainment has yet to see. I have put together a few of my favourite Simba outfits. But I think the best outfit he ever wore was his infectious smile. My sincerest condolences to his loved ones. I never had the honour of meeting him but he really seemed like a soul exuding love. MAY HIS SOUL FIND PEACE IN HEAVEN.

Sag Awards Worst Dressed

So as promised here are the worst dressed at this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards:

In sixth place (least worst dressed) is Sofia Vergara in Donna Karan Atelier. Well this a bit of a departure from her her usual mermaid style gowns but it didn't quite do the job though.

In fifth place Jennifer Aniston. Apparently this is some vintage John Galliano but it just looks like vintage puke. Please, please for the life of me change that hair! Go bald. Go pink. Polkadots! Anything.

Moving on.

In fourth place Sophia Bush in Vivienne Westwood. Okay. I get it, it's Vivienne Westwood. I just don't like it.

In third place Emilia Clarke in Donna Karan Atelier. She looks pregnant. The only time to look pregnant is when pregnant. Or when involved in some illegal scheme.

In second place, Claire Danes. Marc Jacobs. Love the colour hate everything else.

Drumroll please!

And the loser is: Julianna Margulies in Giambattista Valli Couture. Once again love the colour hate the design and material. Pretty smile, though.

Sag Awards 2015

Award season has long kicked off and what better red carpet for me to have as my first of 2015 but the Sags? It will get, get pretty and get majestic. Are you ready?

First up we have Rashida Jones in Emmanuel Ungaro.

I must say that I don't really hate this dress. I like the print and the pop of colour but I'm not a fan of the fit especially the top. I think it squares her of and kills her femininity. Had this been a spaghetti strap or something a little rounder then I think I would have loved it a little more.

Next up, Keira Knightley.

This is Erdem and I have to say that this is a VAST improvement from that Amish concoction she had on a few weeks back. But I can't exactly say she's Best Dressed. Actually I'm not saying that at all. I know she's pregnant but plenty a woman have knocked it out the park before (Angelina Jolie,  Kerry Washington,  Victoria Beckham... shall I go on?). So basically: well done, try harder.

Hello, Julie.
She looked great. Great like someone's mom. I hope that that's a compliment. Coz this dress is very Oscar de la Renta, very Carolina Herrera. I like it but I'm not mad about it. I like the simple hair too.

And in Custom Max Mara is Viola Davis. At first I thought "Wow, custom. This is gonna be fab." And it's just good. It's a style we've seen so many times but it still does the trick. She looks good.

So I'm guessing Julia Roberts wanted something different when she chose this Givenchy creation. She got different just not amazing.

Another lady who was "different" was lovely Emma Stone in Dior Couture. She's been pushing the different thing a lot lately and I'm loving it. Normally sheer bottoms can look OTT  but this just looks effortlessly sexy. Keep it up.

Now for some of my faves:

Julianne Moore in Givenchy Haute Couture.
This is sooo effortless. The hair, the make up, the jewellery, all subtle. She let's the dress and silhouette do all the talking and boy is it speaking volumes. Well done, lady.

Now for the last look *drumroll*
Lupita! Who can go wrong with Ellie Saab?! I LOVE IT! The colours, the hair the make up! Too bad I can't see the shoes. This is a huge departure from the Smarties dress and boy am I glad. She is back in the good books and in a huge way!

Stay glued as I bring you more looks from the Sag Awards and as I crown Best and Worst Dressed.

Don't call it a comeback!

Man oh man, has it been a while!  Well, they do say absence makes the heart grow fonder, so in that case you probably ADORE me by now. I'm back, more opinionated than ever and ready to say it like it is. But before I get into all that, this is my first post in a while and since then the fashion world has lost some great legends, two of which are Joan Rivers and Oscar de la Renta. Both of which were icons in my eyes and I wish their souls rest and peace. Lalani ngoxolo.

XO Lisa Nyamane.

Totes Obsessed: Victoria Beckham

Though I hate her for taking that hot beau, David Beckham, off the market, I really love Victoria's style. I mean the woman can do no wrong...well, barely. When she steps out boy does she look amazeballs! Like the rest of us she sure has had her fashion faux pas but when she gets it right, she nails it! She is the go-to girl  for oversized glasses, HIGH heels and of course, the OH-SO-POSH trench. Her latest accessory, Harper, sure hasn't put a stop to this lady's style but she is slowly creeping up to snatch the throne for the greatest pout!
Here's a look at why it is that I am obsessed  with her style:
